About Me

Circuit Fanatic

I have always been interesting in software development, but combining the virtual with the physical world is just so much cooler.  I, like most others, started working on baby projects on the Arduino.  I found that even though you can certainly do a lot of cool stuff with Arduino, it was hard to step out of that box without really delving into other components and learning by failing (a lot) with building my own simple circuits.

This blog is hopefully going to lend insight into some of the projects I take on personally.  Yes, some will be using arduino, raspberry pi, and/or a variety of the popular systems in place to make for a quick and dirty solution to a problem, but would like to at least provide perspective in my decision choice in why I chose to do things a certain way.

I am by no means an expert in embedded technology.  Outside of 2 courses I took in my undergrad, I am all self taught when it comes to working with hardware to make it do fascinating things.  I am always open to learn, so if you see a mistake or if you have constructive feedback with anything I have posted, I have open ears.

Thanks and enjoy!

Brian
